Artist Statement and CV

Through my art I intend to explore my interest in process oriented craft and printmaking techniques. I enjoy studying folk art, lore, and aesthetic value, and will continue to experiment with natural dyes, rust, lithography, textiles, and my museum/gallery practice. I am heavily influenced by nature and traditional craft, and when I depict my sticks and stones I hope to challenge what has previously been deemed valuable, and instead invest in what I find visually interesting.

Printmaking has been one of my many mediums, and I am excited to continue experimenting with textiles and other mediums at Pratt.I continue to explore mono print, intaglio, lithography, relief, metals, textiles, natural dyes, and more.
